JR Helfrich

Mr. Helfrich serves as the Director of Business Development and is based out of the Naples, Florida office. His career spans multiple decades in the investment industry starting in equity research with Salomon Smith Barney. JR transitioned into the data side of the industry where he held managerial roles in product development, consulting, and business development with Refinitiv. His network is the result of building 20+ years of sound relationships across a broad spectrum of corporations and investment firms in nearly 50 states.

Prior to joining CVA, JR spent the majority of his career with Refinitiv which is now owned by the London Stock Exchange Group. Refinitiv’s predecessors include Thomson Reuters, Thomson Financial, and Primark where he joined the firm originally. JR has also held multiple engagements with startups over his career.
His primary focus will be to leverage his industry expertise to partner with a variety of companies needing boutique valuation and advisory services. As CVA is able to value most any asset, this diverse client base is industry agnostic and includes businesses of most any size.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Kentucky. He played collegiate golf with University of South Florida in Tampa and University of Miami in Oxford, OH. He has also served on several nonprofit boards and is active in many charity events dedicated to the local Naples community.

JR’s interests include his family, friends, golfing, fishing, outdoor activities, and a profound appreciation for local cuisine.
